Deepanshi Gulati, Advanced Trainee Person-centred Psychotherapist
“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”

- Carl Rogers, A Way of Being

ABOUT

ABOUT ME

The answers you're looking for can be challenging to find alone when you may be feeling overwhelmed or lost. Though it might be hard to believe when you’re at your lowest, I trust all the answers you’re looking for are already within you.

I’m here to walk with you at your pace as you learn more about yourself and your environment. Our therapeutic relationship can facilitate self-acceptance and change. I aim to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can freely express your hardships and empower yourself to take charge of your life.

EXPERIENCE

I’m an advanced trainee Person-Centred Psychotherapist completing my MSc final year at Metanoia Institute (accredited by UKCP). I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Arts from the Institute of Art Therapies in Education (based on Gestalt and Transactional Analysis).

My journey as a psychotherapist is complemented by my extensive experience in supporting individuals with severe stress or mental health challenges through my previous work at Mind and current work with Refugees, Asylum Seekers and survivors of various abuse. I also have my own mental health not-for-profit organisation, Rain On Me. I am an ambassador and on the board of several mental health charities. These roles reflect my profound dedication to the field. My personal and professional experiences have unwaveringly shown me how transformative a safe space can be for an individual.
